About QuantDS PSE
'QuantDS PSE' is Quantitative Data Solutions' Philippine Stock Exchange Trading Guide
Aside from Technical Analysis that uses price chart and Fundamental Analysis that uses financial data, Quantitative Analysis is another type of financial analysis that uses mathematical and statistical models or equations to forecast future price movements.
What's Inside the QuantDS PSE Trading Guide
QuantDS PSE consists a list of all stock codes in the PSE with respective values including previous prices, support & resistance prices, trigger prices, price status, recommended trade action, and value turnover. Below are the screenshots of what's on the QuantDS PSE spreadsheet.
The QuantDS PSE Dashboard displays the summary of all the information for each stock from the main QuantDS PSE sheet. The Dashboard can also be considered as a stock screener because, in just one look, you can easily see the most important information you might need to trade the stock of your choice.
Stock Codes with Suggested Buying, Selling, and Stop Loss Prices PLUS Risk Management
The first columns in the main sheet of QuantDS PSE data show the stock codes with suggested buying, selling, and stop loss prices. Take note that higher suggested buying price compared to suggested selling price tells that a stock has a higher tendency to go down.
The candlestick column shows the type of candlestick pattern formed when the market closed.
Previous Close Price, Change in Percentage, and Projected Prices
These columns show the previous close price of the stock, the change of price in percentage, and the projected highest & lowest price that can be reached in the next trading session. (This should be used with the Projected Advance and Decline Trading Method.)
This feature tells the price action of each stock. Shortlist means the stock price is moving on strong momentum, Waitlist means the stock price might bounce from the bottom, Watchlist means the stock price might reverse (bullish or bearish), and Continuation means the stock might continue moving in its current direction.
This part of the guide shows the Trigger Prices. Remember that Trigger Prices act like a magnet so expect the stock prices to move near it. The % Trigger shows the difference (in percentage) of the previous close price and trigger price, while the last column shows the number of days the stock price is ahead or behind the trigger price.
Trade Recommendation, TMI Score, Price Status, and Percent Certainty
This is the heart of the QuantDS PSE data which will help you in making your trading decisions. The Switch Trade For column shows our Variable Recommended Action to take, the TMI column shows the stock score based on our own indicator, the Status column tells the stock price status and the Confidence Level column tells the certainty percentage of our recommendation for each stock. See Definition of Terms for complete info. (This should be used with the Switch Trade Matrix.)
Price Spread (Support and Resistance Levels)
This feature shows the eleven (11) support/resistance price level for each stock. This is updated daily.
The last column of QuantDS PSE guide shows the value turnover or the total value traded for each stock on the last trading day. Remember that the higher the share turnover, the more liquid the share of the company.
Switch Trade Matrix
The Switch Trade Matrix should be used together with Trade Recommendation, TMI Score, Price Status, and Percent Certainty Features to know the final recommended action for the stock. Read from left to right. Example: Switch Trade For is Breakout Buy, TMI is above 35, Status is Strong Close, Confidence Level (certainty %) is above 60% ... so the QDS PSE recommendation for the stock will be Breakout Buy or High-Risk Buy.
Projected Advance and Decline Prices Trading Method
This feature should be used together with Projected Advance and Decline Prices in the QuantDS PSE table to know the recommended action to take for each stock.
